This week, thanks to our Pass of All Passes, we were able to attend a Real Salt Lake Soccer Game. Matt and I thought it would be a fun night out with Elizabeth since she has been playing on her first soccer team this year. I think Elizabeth was a little overwhelmed with the size of the field and the stadium...it is quite a bit bigger than the field that she is use to playing on!
For some reason, Elizabeth was being a total spaz when it came time to take her picture so these are the best that I got. Enjoy her craziness!
We had amazing seats and were right up close to all of the action. Elizabeth's favorite part was when the players would use their heads to hit the ball. It was fun to be part of the crowd, cheering on the Real! We will definitely be back!

Twice the food...Twice the family...Twice the fun!
Today we celebrated Memorial Day with two family BBQs. We started off our day at my Mom and Dad's house. It was so nice to get together with my Mom, my Dad, Meme and Uncle Bill to have a yummy BBQ. Elizabeth and Zachary had a great time running around the yard and playing with all of the yard toys! It was great to be outside enjoying the beautiful weather.
Matt helped Zachary ride the bike, since Zachary's little legs are not long enough to reach the pedals! Even Elizabeth joined in on the fun of pushing Zachary around on the bike. What a good big sister!
Matt and my Mom worked really hard on preparing all of the yummy food for us! My mom did a great job of seasoning the hamburger meat...and Matt grilled it to perfection!
Once the feast was ready, we headed inside to eat. There are a few of us that don't like to eat outside, so we enjoyed our meal inside the house with the air-conditioning on!
Elizabeth had so much fun playing Candyland with Uncle Bill, while Grandma and Meme played with Zachary.
Next, we were off to Karla and Kelly's house for another BBQ and more fun! Kelly always grills such yummy food! It was so nice to be able to sit together, visit, and catch up with what is going on in everyone's lives!
The kids played...and played...and played! Elizabeth always loves spending time with her cousins. Zachary is getting pretty social too! It was so fun to watch him following all of the bigger kids around.
Karla and Kelly recently got a swing set for their backyard. It was a huge hit! The kids absolutely loved it. They had a great time swinging on the swings and sliding down the slide! At one point, all of the girls had their dress-ups on while on the swing set. It was so sweet to see all of the princess playing together!
I loved watching Zachary and Tyler together. It was so cute to see them walking around and exploring together. I hope that they grow up to be good friends.
Zachary found a little pair of binoculars and started carrying them everywhere. He looked so stinkin' cute looking through them!
My favorite part of the whole day is when the boys came out wearing their masks and capes. They were so adorable. Zachary had so much fun, wielding his sword and fighting off dragons. Seriously, could he be any cuter!
Jack and Tyler...so sweet!
We had such a great time today. It was nice to spend the afternoon with my family and then the evening with Matt's family. We ate a lot of good food and made some really fun memories. I am so glad that we were able to spend this time together.

Utah Blaze Game
This weekend we decided to try a Utah Blaze Game. We have never been and we were looking for something different to do with Elizabeth. Since we were able to get free tickets, we thought we would surprise Elizabeth with a special night out with just her, Matt and me. We took her to Red Robin before the game and even got Dippin' Dots at the arena.
She like the game...but the dancers were her favorite. She thought it was so neat when they would dance in the center of the field in-between plays. She was obsessed with their pom poms and has decided she would like a pair for Christmas!
Throughout the game, Elizabeth would hug Matt and me and tell us "thank you". I really think she liked having us all to herself. At one point Elizabeth said, "this is the most fun ever. I want to stay here and watch this forever!" We will definitely have to do more things with just her because she loved it...and so did Matt and I!

Soccer Game #4
Elizabeth had another soccer game this morning. I really enjoy getting out in the sunshine and watching her play. She has gotten so much better and seems to really enjoy being part of a team! I love how she tries her best and gives it her all...at least during the practice before the game!
Grandma and Papa love to come out and watch Elizabeth play. They have been to almost every game. Elizabeth's face always lights up when she sees them on the sidelines. Zachary loves when Grandma comes because she takes him on walks, snuggles him, and feeds him fruit snacks!
We are so glad that Matt has Saturdays off now! It means that he can come to the games too!
Elizabeth played her little heart out. It is great to see her improve each week. The kids finally understand that they are suppose to run a certain direction and they have started to spread out more. In the beginning, it was more like "bunch ball" because they all bunched around the ball. Now they are looking like real soccer players!
Elizabeth did great and even kicked the ball a few times!
Our little goalie is really good. He never lets a ball pass and does a great job of diving and landing on the ball to stop it!
At the end of the game, they line up and give each other high-fives. Love it!
I am so proud of Elizabeth. She has tried so hard, learned so much and had fun while doing it. What more could we ask for!
