Tomorrow is the BIG day!

I cannot believe it! Elizabeth's first day of Kindergarten is tomorrow! She is so excited and I am so happy for her. Today we packed her backpack and got her first day of school outfit ready. Matt was able to give Elizabeth a Father's Blessing. In the blessing he mentioned the following:

• She will be open-minded
• She will be able to learn quickly
• She will be able to know right from wrong
• She will be obedient to her teacher
• She will be able to make friends
• She will be a good example to those around her
• She will be able to find friends that will be a good influence on her
• She will remain excited throughout the school year
• She will be in good health throughout the year
• She will be safe and able to avoid danger
• She will stand up for what she knows is right
• That her teacher will be guided to know what Elizabeth needs

It was such a sweet experience. I am so grateful for the priesthood in our lives and that Matt lives worthy of the responsibility!
