Tea Party with Kena and Kate...and Grandma too!

Elizabeth and I were able to join Tifani, Kena and Kate for another Tea Party. What made this Tea Party even more special was that Grandma was able to join us! Elizabeth has been saving her special green dress for this very occasion.

Elizabeth had so much fun at our last Tea Party and was really looking forward to doing it all again! She was a pro at pouring this time. She did a great job of getting most of it into the tiny, little tea cup.

Elizabeth is so lucky to have two amazing cousins to share these fun experiences with. Kena and Kate are such sweet girls.

I loved watching Elizabeth interact with Lily. I am sure that Grandma did too! Elizabeth is just stinkin' adorable! I am so glad that we are able to make these memories together!

Each of the girls seemed to enjoy their snack. Kena lined up all of her bread slices and buttered them all. She was so careful and methodical. It was great to watch.

Elizabeth is more like me... she eats one thing at a time. She finished off her mini loaf of bread before moving on to her applesauce and tiny little cupcake. I love how she ate it with a fork, so she wouldn't get her hands dirty. I think I have created a monster!

Kate was so sweet. She loved to pour her drink and was so careful as she did so. I thought it was so cute to watch her sip from the little tea cup.

I absolutely love the Tea Parties at Georgell's Doll Shop. I think that they are so fun. Elizabeth was so happy and loved spending the afternoon with her cousins and grandma.

After the Tea Party, Kena, Kate, Elizabeth, and Grandma went on a fairy scavenger hunt. They looked high and low, read each of the clues, and in the end found all of the hidden fairies. Good job girls!

Elizabeth took the hunt very serious. She wanted to make sure that they found, and she saw, each and every one of the fairies. I love that she is at the magical age where pretend and make-believe are still fun!

Aren't they the cutest?

Thanks, Kena, Kate, Tifani, and Grandma for making today so special!

Jungle Jim's Playland

Meme invited us to try a new play place near her house called Jungle Jim's Playland. We were excited to try a new place...and to see Meme and Uncle Bill at the same time! As we walked in, the kids got so excited because there was a huge carousel.

There were so many different kinds of rides. The kids had a blast running from one to the next, and then to the next. Elizabeth loved all of the spinning rides, especially the rocket ships! She even got to drive her own car on a jungle adventure.

Zachary spent most of the day on all of the ride-ons. He LOVED the rides that just went back-and-forth. Poor Uncle Bill had to help Zachary ride them over...and over...and over. I think he would have stayed there all day and night, if we would have let him!

Look at that smiling face! Seriously, I don't think I have ever seen him so happy!

Elizabeth was super-brave and even tried the bumper cars. I was sure that she would get bumped once and want to get off immediately...but she did great and loved every minute of it!

Love this boy!

Thanks Meme and Uncle Bill! We had such a great time. We are so glad that you were able to come and enjoy Jungle Jim's with us!

Hailee's Birthday Party!

Elizabeth has been counting down, and was so excited that it was finally time for Hailee's Birthday Party! A couple of weeks ago, when we received the invitation and discovered that Hailee's party was at Build-A-Bear, Elizabeth almost died from excitement!

When we arrived, the cute Build-A-Bear party host escorted the children to gather in a corner of the store. She made a big fuss over the birthday girl and explained how things were going to go while we were there. She then escorted the children to the front of the store, where each child was able to pick out their own stuffed animal.

Elizabeth immediately picked this darling confetti teddy bear. She said she loved him because he was so colorful!

Elizabeth and Hailee waiting patiently for each child to pick their stuffed animal before we all headed to the stuffing station.

The party host had each of the children pick two hearts from a jar. The children then proceeded to do the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life! They all took the hearts and rubbed them on their foreheads so that their animals would be smart. They rubbed the hearts on their feet so their animals would be able to run fast. They rubbed them on their eyes so they would be able to see well, and on their hearts so that they would be able to love. Lastly each child gave their hearts a kiss and made a wish! Then they each placed one heart in their own animal and one heart in Hailee's animal. I love that Hailee's little bear had a heart from each of her friends that attended the party! Seriously, the cutest thing ever!

Once Elizabeth's little bear was sewn up, she was able to head off to the washing station. Elizabeth did a great job of cleaning her and fluffing all of her fur.

Next, it was off to decide on an outfit. After looking at everything in the store multiple times, she picked a Princess tank top, a denim skirt and two beautiful bows!

As the kids waiting for everyone to be done, the party host had each of them sign their name on a darling little birthday bear. It was so cute too see the way each of them signed their names. What an amazing keepsake for her fourth birthday!

After posing for a group shot, we headed to a lounge area for cake and presents.

I loved watching Hailee open all of her gifts. She got some really nice things. Elizabeth gave Hailee a Journey Girls Doll, just like her own Lily. As we went shopping, Elizabeth said that she loved her doll so much and knew that Hailee would love one too!

Judging from her reaction, I think Elizabeth was right! Hailee seemed really excited about her new doll!

Look at these darling cupcakes! Melissa, Hailee's mom, is the most incredible person. She is so creative and talented.

As if a trip to Build-A-Bear, a new stuffed animal and accessories was not enough, Elizabeth also received a fun Build-A-Bear backpack filled with more treasures. There was even a matching backpack for her bear! The backpack was filled with a Care Bears coloring book, crayons, a Build-A-Bear paw brush and tutu socks, a homemade teddy-bear shaped Rice Krispie treat, Build-A-Bear fruit snacks and Teddy Grahams!

Elizabeth had so much fun today. We are so glad that we were able to help Hailee celebrate her special day. Elizabeth is so lucky to call Hailee a friend. Happy Birthday Hailee!
