What a Busy Weekend!

This weekend was filled with all kinds of activities. On Saturday morning, we went to the annual holiday boutique at my grandma's church. It has become a tradition in our family, so I was glad that we were able to attend again this year. It was nice to meet some of my grandma's friends. There were a lot of vendors this year, selling all types of items. My favorites were all of the jewelry and the craft items.

In one of the vendor areas, Elizabeth saw a porcelain doll and immediately started saying "baby". She was reaching out and stretching as far as she could, trying to grab the baby. For the next ten minutes, Elizabeth kept calling out for a baby. My grandma and mom, decided that they had to find Elizabeth a baby. So after visiting every area, and asking everyone that we could find, if there were any dolls anywhere...we found a gift bag that has a mouse stuffed animal and a blanket. As soon as Elizabeth saw it, her eyes lit up and my mom pulled out her wallet...finally Elizabeth had a "baby".

After the boutique, my mom, my grandma, Elizabeth, and I went to Applebee's for lunch. I got the chicken fingers basket and shared with Elizabeth. She seemed to really enjoy the food...and all of the attention that she received from my grandma and my mom.

Next, I was off to a Christmas Party with some friends in Jeremy Ranch. I had never been to Jeremy Ranch so I was a little nervous. Luckily, I didn't have to go alone...Kamille and I drove together. I had a great time. There was yummy food...crab cake, smoked salmon, salads, bread bowls, chili, clam chowder, and turtle pie for dessert. I always enjoy a night out with friends. Thanks Mom and Dad, for watching Elizabeth so that I could escape for a few hours.

One of the best things that happened this weekend, is that my mom and dad taught Elizabeth to say, "Baby Jesus". I love hearing her little voice...and I love the expression on her face when she talks. She gets so proud of herself...and loves it when we all cheer for her.

Sunday was Jack's Blessing day...and Kena's Birthday Party. It is always good to spend the day with family. Jack looked so handsome in his little tuxedo. He is absolutely adorable. Kena got some really fun things for her birthday. She was such a great cousin and shared all of her new things with Elizabeth.

After Kena's party, we headed over to Matt's parent's house. They just installed their new Samsung 52 inch high definition flat panel t.v. and Matt was dying to see it. It is a beautiful t.v. It has a great picture. I love how it opens up the room because it just hangs on the wall. No need for a huge entertainment center taking up half of the room. Elizabeth loved all of the extra space to run around.

Fuzzy Wuzzy Hat

This weekend, my mom, my grandma, Elizabeth, and I attended a Holiday Boutique at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. This is an annual tradition for us so we have been looking forward to it for quite a while. There are lots of vendor booths...selling all kinds of neat things. I love all of the jewelry, hair accessories, and hats that they always have.

One vendor was selling these crazy-looking fuzzy hats. As soon as Elizabeth put one on, she would look in the mirror and smile. You could tell in her eyes that she thought she looked so great. Then she started waving and smiling at, and playing peek-a-boo with everyone that walked by. She is such a "ham" but it seemed worse while wearing this funny hat.

When we saw how cute she was...that was it...we had to buy it. My sweet mom had Elizabeth try on every color until she decided on the blue. I think it is the cutest thing that I had ever seen. It only got better when I realized that it was a set...it came with an adorable scarf!
