Elizabeth has been looking forward to Preschool and is getting really excited for it to start. Tonight, we attended Elizabeth's Preschool Open House. As we arrived, Miss Krista asked each child if they were a boy or a girl and then gave them a little boy or a little girl picture to color. After they were colored, we placed them on a board at the front of the room to keep track of how many boys and girls will be in the class.
Elizabeth had a great time exploring the entire room and finding all of the toys, puzzles and class supplies. She really loved the chalkboard and the Dora the Explorer Ship.
Elizabeth was so excited when she saw that there was a kitchen. She immediately went over and asked me what I would like to eat so she could cook for me. She is such a great little mommy and caretaker.
Miss Krista is absolutely darling. I am so glad that Elizabeth was able to get into one of her classes. The open house was great because Elizabeth was able to get acquainted with her new classroom and meet her fellow classmates. We also learned that Elizabeth's class will be having four parties throughout the school year and will do "Show and Tell" every month!
I cannot believe it...but in exactly one week, my little sweetheart will be starting preschool.
