Fun at Gymboree

Since it has been raining so much, Elizabeth and I have been spending a lot of time at our house. I decided that we both needed to get out and have some fun... so I scheduled a couple of extra classes at Gymboree this week. Today, we got to attend a Play and Learn Class and an Art Class. Elizabeth was so excited when she realized that we were going to be able to stay and participate in both classes.


Today's Play and Learn Class was about cooking. We got to gather our ingredients, and put them in the mixing bowl.


Once we had mixed everything together...we got to roll out our dough with the BIG rolling pin.


Elizabeth sat back and watched during bubble time, but once it was parachute time...she was in on the action. She had so much fun shaking and wiggling the parachute.


Immediately after the Play and Learn Class, we got to go to the Art Class. Elizabeth loves art. I never let her do it at home...because it is such a mess...so she loves going to Art Class.

Today we learned about letters in Art Class. We got to make letters out of Play-Doh, stamp letters on a mural, and glue letters to a picture.


We read the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom so for our picture we got to make a tree with letters in it. Elizabeth had a blast.


It makes me so happy to go out and do something fun with Elizabeth. We truly are blessed to be able to do all of the things that we get to do together!
